A couple weekends ago, Papa Baird and I went on a little shopping spree with the Baird family. We walked away with a couple hundred dollars in baby clothes, and everything I could want to decorate the baby room :) All of which, shown in the pictures above were a grand total of FORTY DOLLARS! thank you, Once Upon A Child and good timing :)
Oh, and we stopped by my Aunt Hollee's to get some more gifts for Wy.. some clothes, an adorable snow suit and a baby monitor and such. Only to get home and see that G-ma Janet bought over a hundred bucks in baby clothes too. So now I'm LOADED with little tiny outfits that make me want to squeal every time I see them.
Now, I know I shouldn't be so crazy because we'll get tons of stuff at the shower, but have you ever tried to leave a baby section in a store without buying something??? IMPOSSIBLE! Zack picked out the CUTEst GQ-type shirts, including a little quarter-zip that I love. I was literally pulling him out of every store we went in to. But, Wyatt is going to be so well dressed! If only this baby knew how much he was loved already by everyone around us :)

(Zack also wants to show some of our favorite outfits.. we'll take pics and share on the next blog)

Well, I'm 22 weeks along now. only 18 left! where has time gone?!
I think it's safe to say that I've "popped" with my baby belly now, seeing as everyone comments on how cute I am. or that my belly is now a magnet for hands. or they say how small I am for 5 and a half months. (it's cuz it's all in my boobs) ... I'll get a picture up when I get a minute.. Also, we have a checkup this weekend with the doctor. We're also going to get the results of the tetra-test, which shows if our baby is prone to any genetic disorders. I'm thinking everything probably came back okay, or they woulda called us in sooner? Guess we'll find out in a few days.

The next couple weeks are going to be so hectic.. Blowe's (or the hardware store most people know as Lowe's), has me scheduled almost 30 hours in one week. On top of my job at the elementary school from 8 to 3. Eeeekk. I told Zack I'm gonna have to get a doctor's note to sit during down time because 12 hours of being on my feet a day is going to do me no good.
Plus mom starts her rounds of chemo tomorrow, and we're not sure how she'll respond to these types. Supposedly they are not as killer as the ones she had over this past summer, but we'll just have to see. She'll still lose her hair again most likely, but who cares as long as this cancer gets killed off. Anyway, she gets one round every three weeks for 6 total. Which puts her last chemo round about 2 or 3 weeks before the baby is due, and then she'll be off and hopefully healthy all summer long :)

In the meantime, we'll both be trying to eat up and gain some weight while we patiently await the arrival of this beautiful little boy!

On a different note, Zack was cracking me up this weekend.. he was talking to my belly and trying to get Wyatt to kick his hand since he hasn't felt him move yet, and the baby just wouldn't budge for him. So Zack said, "Come on Wyatt, if you don't listen to me now.. we're going to have a long, rough life ahead of us..." hahaha
He's so sweet and excited for this:)

One more funny story and I'm done blabbing for the night... the other day I signed onto the computer and Levi (my 12 yr old brother for those of you who don't know him) had this picture as his desktop background,
hahahha... is someone jealous of the baby perhaps???
