idiot's guide to an ultrasound picture...

Well today we had another ultrasound because during the fetal anatomy a few weeks back, my little stinker wouldn't flip the right way to get a good pic of his spine. So back to the hospital we went, this time I took my Aunt Jill, cousin Rachel, G-ma Jan and Levi..

Right away the tech could tell he was laying with his arm over his face (per usual).. with his legs crossed at his ankles!! hahaha that part made me laugh. He's just in there chillin, relaxin.. living the life! Jill said he's gonna come out in this pose ->

LOL!!!

The tech also commented on how much he's moving... well shoot, I coulda told you that!
I saw Wyatt kick me today. Not only could I feel that jab, but I could see my belly move too! It was awesomely funny. My favorite is that we play a poke-n-kick game now.. I poke, and he kicks back where I poked. It's highly entertaining and I can't wait to show Zack next weekend. The best part, is he tried to smack the camera thing they put on your belly to do the ultrasound.. haha. He smacked it where it was, and then totally flipped sides so she had to search for whatever she was looking for again. Silly boy :)
Oh, and you better believe I'll be making every attempt possible to get these alien-like movements on video to share. It's super cool :)

I don't know about you, but I think my kid has super long legs! Hello genes from daddy! Munchkin also weighed in at 1 pound, 12 ounces.. right on track :)

The next one is hideous, but kind of funny. Now, we looked at his face for a long time - so the reason he looks like a piglet is just because of the angle heheh.

There's our boy! I can't believe how much he's grown and changed in the 5 short weeks since the last ultrasound.. sheesh!

To make my day even more exciting, we picked up our new car today :) It's beautiful and I feel like an adult now driving around this Camry instead of the Lebaron, haha

Plus... jeans day and a carry-in at BOTH jobs tomorrow! AND 60 degree weather! Then another doc appointment Saturday and I can hear Wy's heart beating away again.... This week is ending fabulously :D

Only one more week till the BG barista baby shower, and we're super excited to see everyone!!

Guess I should sign off and start winding down or I won't sleep for anything... Tune in next time for some fun lists of "Reasons why we're excited about our kid and he isn't even born yet"... and maybe some pics of our most favorite baby outfits!
