A list of things I can now accomplish one-handed (due to baby occupying other arm/hand):
- Putting on makeup, and it looking good. (I still need both hands for hair though)
- Feeding AND watering the dog.
- Cleaning around the house and making the bed.
- Emailing and typing up work documents.
- *the most impressive, in my mind*........Cooking an entire breakfast, complete with cracking eggs for omelettes and frying bacon.
- Packing a diaper bag.
- Editing family photos in photoshop, and uploading to facebook.

Now, if you are thinking this isn't so difficult, grab a 17-pound shake weight with one hand, turn it on, and try to accomplish these things with your free hand. Who's the talented one now?
But on to baby news, at 5 months Baby Baird weighs in at 17 pounds and measures 25 and 1/2 inches. He can now grab his toes, and get them in his mouth!
When his feet start to bore him, he's reaching for everything... and then promptly putting whatever he can reach in his mouth... so.fun. We're working on rolling over... once in a while we have a success, but he's stugglin to pull those thunder thighs over :)
