the good life

Normally I'm not a bragger.

(or a complainer, but this current job situation has me bitchin' up a STORM lately...)

But back to bragging... this weekend a family friend was telling me how she saw my husband, me, our son and our dog taking a walk around town last week and thought to herself, "what a perfect family."
And today, as I look at my life... it is pretty perfect. I'm totally taking this post to feel proud of where I have come in life so far.
Take today for instance. I cuddled with my teething baby, completed postings for one of my graduate school classes, worked 6 hours, ran a couple errands, cleaned house, finished a few to-do's on the upstairs renovation, made cheesy mostaccoli from scratch (and gluten-free), watered flowers, had a surprise visit from my dad and brother... and am now posting my thoughts that have been running through my head for the last hour or so.
I have an amazing and supportive husband. I'm able to be a homeopathic/natural mother to our handsome 12 month old. I work in the most rewarding career field there is. I'm a 4.0 graduate student. And I have all of the love and support a girl could ask for from family... and friends that I consider family.
I'm about to be 24 years old in a couple days.... and life is good.
